Such a pleasure to browse around among such well sourced treasures. We have renovated our properties with quality products ( some from a by-gone era ) with the help and advice from happy and friendly staff. HTP is definitely one of my favorite destinations.

The staff has been highly supportive. Our family are very impressed with the appropriate building supply information. Which they have provided to our son for his home extention, with excellent deals. Great team!

Yeah it’s pretty good. I think some products can be found cheaper elsewhere but they do need to make a margin. Some fun having a look through and good service. Unique items and great that things are being reused.

Love this place! So full of recycled building materials, at a fair price. Helpful fellows when you ask for something. High turn over of stock, so there's always something new to find. I just love that old things get a second life, not just thrown away.

So impressed with this business. I was told "you should check them out before you get your windows fabricated"....so glad that i did! The service provided was excellent and very knowledgeable. You just can tell that the business cares about its customers and as a result "I'll be back".

One of the only Canberra sources for recycled building materials of all kinds but particularly windows and doors. You will find, double glazed glass units, nails, screws, bolts and brackets, fittings of all kinds, plus vintage items, curios and collectables. It continues to be the "go to" spot in the ACT when looking for bits and pieces for projects...it's worth dropping in for a browse and a chat with John and his crew. Excellent business.

Was great the staff were excellent, even trimming a bit of wood that would not fit in our vehicle. Great service with a smile and thier prices are good.

Handyman's (Handyperson?) Trading Post has moved but still has that quirky range of building stuff as before. Parking isn't quite as easy but it is not too bad. I could spend (even more) hours here.
